The BRICS Journal of Energy Systems is an international, peer-reviewed quarterly journal established through the collaborative efforts of the BRICS member nations—Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. The journal serves as a dedicated platform for disseminating cutting-edge research, innovative project outcomes, and critical scholarly contributions from professors, scientists, and researchers across the BRICS countries and beyond.
Aim
The primary aim of the journal is to foster scientific cooperation and strengthen academic ties among universities and research institutions within the BRICS bloc. By providing a high-quality venue for knowledge exchange, the journal seeks to advance the understanding, development, and implementation of modern energy systems that address the diverse economic, environmental, and technological priorities of emerging economies. We are committed to promoting interdisciplinary dialogue that bridges the gap between academic research, industrial application, and energy policy formulation across BRICS nations.
Scope
The BRICS Journal of Energy Systems welcomes original research articles, review papers, technical notes, and case studies in all areas of energy science and engineering, with particular interest in topics relevant to the BRICS context, including but not limited to:
-
Renewable and Sustainable Energy: Solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and biomass energy systems; hybrid renewable configurations; and green hydrogen technologies.
-
Power Generation and Conversion: Thermal power plants, nuclear energy, advanced combustion technologies, and novel energy conversion systems.
-
Smart Grids and Energy Distribution: Grid modernization, demand-side management, microgrids, distributed generation, and power electronics.
-
